Bulk Billing and Fees at Asquith Doctors
Asquith Doctors proudly participates in the Australian Government’s Bulk Billing Practice Incentive Program, making most GP consultations bulk billed for patients registered with our practice through MyMedicare.
Bulk Billed Services
If you are registered with MyMedicare and have nominated Asquith Doctors as your regular practice, the following services are bulk billed:
- Standard GP consultations (short, standard, and long appointments)
- Chronic disease management plans and reviews
- Mental health care plans
- Most preventive health services
Simply bring your Medicare card to your appointment, and these eligible services will be billed directly to Medicare with no out-of-pocket cost.
Privately Billed Services
Some services are not covered by Medicare and will continue to incur a private fee. These include:
- Minor procedures (for example, skin lesion removals, injections, wound care, and minor surgery)
- Forms and reports (driver’s licence medicals, insurance or employment assessments)
- Non-Medicare services (such as travel medicine, some vaccinations, and cosmetic procedures)
- Telehealth consultations that do not meet Medicare eligibility requirements

To access bulk billing under the new incentive program, patients must be registered with Asquith Doctors through MyMedicare.
You can register by:
- Logging into your MyGov account, or
- Completing a paper form available from our reception team.
Registering links you to your preferred GP and practice, supporting continuity of care and helping us provide better-coordinated health services.
