Dr Bibhusana Borthakur

Dr Mehdi Samari is an experienced general practitioner at Asquith Doctors, offering comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals and families across Sydney’s North Shore. With more than 15 years of clinical experience, he combines surgical precision with a compassionate approach to everyday health concerns.

A Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), Dr Samari initially trained in surgery and emergency medicine before specialising in general practice. His surgical training began at Westmead Hospital and continued at St George and Sutherland Hospitals, providing him with a strong foundation in procedural and acute care.

Dr Samari has particular interests in chronic disease management, skin cancer assessment, minor surgical procedures, aged-care and complex health management, mental-health support, and pain-management strategies tailored to individual needs. He takes time to understand each patient’s unique circumstances, ensuring that care plans are practical, evidence-based, and aligned with long-term wellbeing.
