Dr Babak Khanzadi

Dr Babak Khanzadi is an Australian-trained General Practitioner and Vein Interventionalist who has been practising in Australia since 2011.

He holds Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and Fellowship of the Australasian College of Phlebology (FACP), reflecting advanced training in both comprehensive primary care and minimally invasive vein procedures.

Dr Khanzadi has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of varicose veins and chronic venous disease. His practice focuses on evidence-based, minimally invasive treatments including endovenous laser ablation, ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy and ambulatory phlebectomy. He holds a Certificate in Clinician Performed Ultrasound (CCPU) from Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine and an Advanced Certificate in Vascular Ultrasound from the Australasian College of Phlebology, ensuring accurate duplex assessment and procedural precision.

In addition to vein interventions, Dr Khanzadi provides comprehensive general practice care, with particular expertise in skin cancer diagnosis and surgical excision.
