Dr Gayani Jayasinghe

Dr Gayani Jayasinghe is a caring and experienced general practitioner at Asquith Doctors with more than two decades of medical experience. She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in Sri Lanka in 2005 and has since worked in both hospital and general practice settings across Australia and overseas.

After moving to Australia in 2010, Dr Jayasinghe obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). She also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Child Health from the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Primary Skin Cancer Medicine.

Her areas of clinical interest include child and women’s health, mental wellbeing, general and preventive medicine, and early detection of skin conditions. She believes in a collaborative approach to care — helping patients understand their health and take positive steps toward long-term wellbeing.
